Motorcycle Visors: What Every Rider Needs to Know 🏍️

Not all visors are created equal, and choosing the wrong tint or coating can seriously affect your visibility out on the road. Whether you’re a brand new rider or you’ve been on two wheels for years, understanding your visor options is one of those things that makes a real difference to your safety and comfort.

Tinted visors are great for bright summer days but swap to a clear one the moment light drops. Anti-fog coatings and Pinlock inserts are worth every penny if you ride in cooler or wetter conditions (and let’s be honest, in the North West, that’s most of the year). Iridium or mirrored visors look brilliant but offer similar light reduction to a standard tint, so pick based on function first, style second. Which visor setup do you currently ride with, and have you ever been caught out by fogging up at a bad moment?

At Betta Biker, we cover the practical stuff like this during our CBT courses in Warrington, Weaverham, and Thatto Heath. Small groups of no more than two riders, all kit supplied, and a full day of classroom and on-bike training for Β£190. If you’ve been thinking about getting started on two wheels, what’s been holding you back? 🧀
